What is your role at Flexxaire?
I’m a Master Planner.
What do your responsibilities consist of?
I take charge of planning and scheduling for our machine shop and assembly, handle all purchasing, and manage supplier relationships. I also manage shipping and receiving, control inventory, and coordinate OEM planning and portal monitoring. Additionally, I administer our ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) system and serve on the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic decision-making and the company’s long-term success.
How long have you been working at Flexxaire?
I’ve been with Flexxaire for 21.5 years.
How do you think your job benefits the company?
Everything that gets made, bought, or sold passes through my area. I believe that effective planning is crucial for delivering products to our customers on time.
What do you like most about the work that we do here?
I like that we deliver valuable solutions to our customers, prioritizing their success in everything we do. I also like that Flexxaire feels like a family. Enjoying your work is important, and Flexxaire strives to ensure that every employee feels this way.
How has your role evolved since you began with the company?
When I found Flexxaire, I was a stay-at-home mom with my youngest child just starting school. Flexxaire offered me a part-time position as a production assistant, allowing me to work four hours a day with flexibility for family needs. As the years went by, my hours and responsibilities grew. I am the type of person who loves to be busy and continuously seeks new challenges, so as other employees moved on, I took on quite a few of their responsibilities to add to my own. After 21 years, I still feel very fortunate to work at such an awesome company and with a great group of people. This is a place that allows you to thrive if you have the desire to do so.
